Warm Blanket in the Void

In the vast expanse of endless night,
Where stars are whispers, lost in flight,
I wandered cold, a silent ghost,
Chasing echoes, lost the most.
The music played, a distant hum,
A voice from nowhere, calling—come,
Through shadowed streets, through empty skies,
I sought the warmth behind the lies.
And there you were, a gentle hand,
A thread that pulled me from sinking sand,
Not seen, yet felt with every breath,
A quiet truth that conquers death.
For in the void, where silence reigns,
I learned that mercy breaks the chains,
And now I know, though cold winds blow,
The blanket comes, the warmth will grow.
The one I sought, the one I missed,
Is here with me, a quiet bliss.
A heart once lost, now soft, aligned,
No longer cold, no longer blind.
So breathe, stay calm, don’t fear the fall,
The blanket comes, it warms us all.
Through vastness, through the darkest door,
We are not lost, we are much more.
