The Great Contradiction: A Manifesto for Change | Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025

For too long, we’ve been told what to think. For too long, we’ve accepted contradictions as reality. For too long, we’ve let those in power dictate the rules of the game.
Today, that stops.
This week marks Neurodiversity Celebration Week, a time meant to unite people across nations, to celebrate creativity, culture, and diversity. But I see a bigger opportunity—a chance to make my voice heard in a way I never have before.
Because if there's one thing that unites us all, regardless of borders, politics, or industries, it’s this: We are being lied to. Repeatedly. Systematically. Blatantly.
And I won’t stay silent anymore.
The System is Broken—And It's By Design
The world is run by contradictions and double standards, enforced by governments, corporations, and institutions that claim to serve the people—but really serve power, greed, and control.
1. The Drug Contradiction: What Heals is Illegal, What Kills is Normal
If a substance can be freely grown or found in nature, it’s outlawed.
If a corporation can package it into a pill, sell it, and tax it, it’s medicine.
Alcohol—one of the most destructive substances in society—is legal, taxed, and normalised.
Psychedelics, cannabis, and plant medicines—many of which have proven mental health benefits—are still demonised.
Stimulants, which help neurodivergent people like me function, are controlled, restricted, and stigmatised while billions of people self-medicate with alcohol, caffeine, and junk food without a second thought.
2. The Media Contradiction: Free Speech, But Only If It’s Profitable
Media is not about truth—it’s about control.
We are told to fear "misinformation"—but mainstream media is built on corporate bias, political allegiance, and half-truths designed to maintain the status quo.
The rise of AI-generated information terrifies governments and media moguls because it removes their control over the narrative.
Just as they banned natural medicines, they now move to censor and regulate AI—not for safety, but to ensure they remain the gatekeepers of knowledge.
3. The AI Contradiction: The Battle for Control of Thought
AI is the next great land grab—corporations and governments don’t want people using free, open-source AI tools like DeepSeek because they can’t monetise them.
Instead, they invest billions into controlling AI, branding free alternatives as “dangerous” while ensuring profit-driven, walled-off AI models dominate the landscape.
This isn’t about safety—it’s about controlling access to knowledge.
4. The Economic Contradiction: They Need You Struggling
If people were healthy, informed, and empowered, the entire system would collapse.
The economy thrives on people being sick, addicted, and distracted.
If society truly cared about well-being, there would be free healthcare, fair wages, and a safety net that actually helps people—instead, we get empty promises and increased dependence on failing systems.
The Tipping Point is Coming—And They Know It
For the first time in history, we have the tools to expose the system in real-time. AI, open-source knowledge, and global connectivity mean people are waking up to the illusion faster than ever before.
That’s why:
They’re scrambling to regulate AI.
They’re desperately trying to reassert control over media.
They’re clamping down on dissent under the guise of “protecting democracy.”
They’re keeping natural medicines out of reach, ensuring the pharmaceutical industry stays profitable.
They know the house of cards is shaking.
And the truth is they can’t stop it.
What Needs to Change?
1. Stop Letting Them Control the Narrative
Start asking real questions. Challenge every assumption. If something doesn’t make sense, it’s because it’s not meant to make sense—it’s meant to manipulate you.
2. Demand True Harm Reduction, Not Corporate Regulation
If alcohol, cigarettes, and sugar can be freely sold despite their harm, then mushrooms, cannabis, psychedelics, and natural medicines should be equally accessible.
3. Decentralise AI & Media Before It's Too Late
If knowledge is fenced in by corporations, it becomes just another tool for control. Free, open-source AI models must be protected.
4. Recognise That the System is Built to Keep You Struggling
If you feel like you’re constantly fighting to keep up, it’s because the system is designed that way. True freedom isn’t just about laws—it’s about breaking free from dependence on a rigged economy.
My Stand: No More Silence
I’m putting this out there because I want people to think. I want to shake up conversations that have been kept off-limits for too long.
I spent years blinded by the distractions, the shared addictions, the noise—but I’m not blind anymore.
And I refuse to sit back and watch the contradictions pile up while the people in charge continue to play us like puppets.
So, let this be the start of a conversation, not the end of one. If any part of this resonates with you, don’t just nod in agreement and move on—DO something with it.
The world only changes when people refuse to accept the status quo.
And I, for one, am fucking done accepting it.
Are you?
